All shipping costs are not refundable. Dallas Light Bulb reserves the right to impose a restocking fee on all returns.

About Warranties

Most of the products offered by Dallas Light Bulb are protected by the individual Manufacturer’s warranty. These terms and conditions will be stated on the appropriate manufacturer’s website.

Non-Warranted Products

Ballasts, Electrical Controls, Devices, Gear, or Fixtures: All of the electrical products including ballasts sold by Dallas Light Bulb are premium quality products. All electrical controls, devices, gear, & ballasts are rarely defective when they arrive to the customer. Usually when a electrical control, device, gear, or ballast is reported as defective, it is a result of user error. Such as improper installation. The data that is used to make this determination comes from the appropriate manufacturer that handles the warranty claim. These determinations are not the result of Dallas Light Bulb’s assumption or testing. Dallas Light Bulb is not a TESTING FACILITY.

WARNING: Wiring and installation of any electrical product is very serious and should be attempted by a licensed electrician only. Ballast or electrical product installation is serious risk that could result in electric shock which can lead to injury or death. Remember to hire a qualified electrician. SAFETY FIRST!

All of the ballast, electrical controls, devices, gear, and fixtures come with their respective factory warranties stated on the “spec sheet” or the manufacturer’s website. Dallas Light Bulb will be happy to help facilitate (for our customers) any “warranty claims” with the manufacturer in the following manner:

If a ballast, electrical control, device, gear, or fixture is claimed as defective (by the customer) and is under warranty, the customer is required to contact Customer Service and request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). The RMA agreement will require that the customer return the claimed defective product at the customer’s shipping expense for factory testing. If the factory testing confirms that the ballast, electrical control, device, gear, or fixture is defective and not a result of improper installation, a credit will be issued to the customer for the returned defective product. A refund for shipping costs will also be given back to the customer from the original purchase for that “particular item” only. If a replacement product is needed, the customer will be required to place a new order. (A credit for the defective product may take 2-4 weeks to be determined and processed.)
